Why lithium iron phosphate battery?

1,Lithium battery performance requirements include energy density, power density, cost, life and safety. Energy storage applications have relaxed requirements on energy density and power density of batteries, and more emphasis is placed on reducing the cost of distributing storage power. Energy storage batteries should have low cost and long life, and ensure the safety of battery applications.

2,Lifepo4 battery has become the main choice of energy storage battery due to its excellent safety, long cycle life, abundant metal resources, low cost and environmental protection.

3,The performance of lithium iron phosphate material is close to the theoretical bottleneck, and it is difficult to improve the performance of the material. Low-cost long-cycle lithium iron phosphate cathode materials are currently being developed. Materials currently under development include high pressure solid density, fast charge, high energy density materials (such as lithium ferromagnetism phosphate).

Selection of cathode materials for energy storage battery

Positive electrode material is the most important material cost, accounting for about 55%. Lithium ion batteries are mainly
divided into lithium iron phosphate batteries and ternary batteries based on different cathode materials, power batteries have both, and energy storage batteries are almost all lithium iron phosphate batteries in China.

Cautions

1, The charging current should be less than the maximum charging current specified in the product specifications. A charging current greater than the recommended current may damage the battery;
2, The discharge current should be less than the maximum discharge current specified in the product specifications; the discharge current greater than the recommended current may damage the battery;
3, Do not reverse the polarity of the battery pack for any reason;
4, Do not charge in reverse polarity;
5, Please use a professional charger for charging;
6,If the lithium battery is not used for a long time, it should be charged with 50%~80% power, stored separately in a dry and cool environment, and recharge the battery every 3 months to avoid long storage time and low power due to self-discharge of the battery, Will cause the battery performance,characteristics or battery function to decline;
7, A single battery cell is not waterproof, and the finished battery pack has a waterproof layer to prevent rain. But do not soak in water and do not expose the battery to a high-temperature open flame.

How does a solar energy storage system work?
